Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
Our Lady of Fatima Academy’s Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program offers a faith-filled, nurturing environment where young learners build a strong foundation for future academic success. Rooted in Catholic values, our TK program is designed for four-year-olds and emphasizes the joy of learning through play, exploration, and loving relationships.
Students engage in developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences that support early literacy, numeracy, creativity, and social-emotional development. Using high-quality curriculum resources such as Kick Start Kindergarten, Earlybird Kindergarten Common Core Mathematics, and Stories of God’s Love, our teachers provide a rich blend of whole group, small group, paired, and individual instruction tailored to meet the needs of every child.
Faith formation and character development are integral to the TK experience. With resources like Stories of God’s Love, the Growing with God and the beloved Lion Puppet, students are introduced to God’s love and their identity as children of God. The Friendzy program further supports emotional and spiritual growth by teaching important friendship and social-emotional skills rooted in Gospel values.
The TK curriculum is rounded out by Worlds of Wonder, a dynamic program that sparks curiosity and wonder across multiple content areas through interactive stories, exploration, and imaginative play.
