Living Our Faith Through Service
At Our Lady of Fatima Academy, service is an essential part of our mission and daily life. Rooted in Gospel values and the example of Christ, students are taught that true leadership begins with serving others. Our service projects provide age-appropriate, hands-on opportunities to put faith into action and respond to the needs of our community and world.
Grade-Level Projects
Each grade level participates in service throughout the year, focusing on age-appropriate causes that encourage empathy, responsibility, and gratitude. Projects may include:
- Creating care packages for the homeless
- Organizing food and clothing drives
- Making cards for seniors or marines
- Supporting local shelters
- Participating in parish-based outreach or Lenten almsgiving

School-Wide Service Opportunities
In addition to classroom efforts, students take part in larger, school-wide projects that unite the entire school community in a common mission:
- Advent and Lenten Outreach Drives
- Catholic Schools Week Acts of Kindness
- Partnerships with local organizations and global missions
Service as Formation
Through service, students develop a deeper understanding of human dignity, social justice, and their role as disciples of Christ. Reflection is built into many projects, helping students connect their actions to Scripture, Catholic Social Teaching, and Schoolwide Learning Expectations.
